I have photographed these two before and each time- I ADORE it- the older sis reminds me soo much of my Kayla and sweet S- you may not have wanted to get into the “spirit” of photography but your cute expressions and O THAT HAIR… I had a big SMILE of my face while going over each of these to pick my favs.  Thank you girlies for traveling down the railroad with me- laying in the grass- and giving soo many GREAT ideas!! see you all sooon!

One thing I LOVE about Facebook is to reconnect with old friends….for me I am always a little hesitant because well…to say I was wild is quite the understatement lol!! A dear friend of mine though contacted me when she found out about another friend we had grown up in church with, that had a  tragic invent happen in her life.  I wanted to do so much- take a meal…write a letter…connect in some way just to let her know I was there if she needed anything and that she too was surrounded in prayer, but none of these things really felt enough.  I asked if I could capture some moments of her children’s lives and so here we are 6 months later and what a BLESSING it was to me!  I had the BEST time with THE most spirited, fun little girl and the sweetest, most inquisitive lil guy. I wanted to honor these children’s father who gave his life,  not only for his own children but for mine…to me the bittersweetness of these moments will forever be in my heart- a little girl who read books to her daddy on an American flag with perfectly pink painted toenails….. a sweet boy whos memories of his dad will, I know,  be retold in stories from their strong, brave momma. Of all lifes trials we as wifes, parents, children may go thorugh I realize mine are not as tough as others and this family will be my reminder of this- to get through each day I cant imagine, but to have 2 babies that depend of you to get though it- CAPTURES the heart of why I wanted to do this ….. thank you for letting me be apart of this day! ~xo
