~ is it HOT in here?~
I vote YES– so H O T right now- this week for sure and I don’t think its because im a week or 2 from having a baby… OK maybe it is, but to pass the time here’s what we’ve been doing or should I say EATing??!! lol
I bought the pop molds off amazon during the winter when they were on sale and used my swagbucks towards amazon gift cards ( O yeahhhh!!!!) so to say these are cheap ( and healthy!) frozen treats is for sure!! For the fruit ones we just blend up what fruit we r wanting ( fav combo is strawberry /banana right now for the kiddos) add a touch of honey and shhh ground flax seed.. pour into mold and freeze- EASY and the chocolate/vanilla ones, we used a homemade pudding recipe, added some cocoa to it and pooped in some cut grapes and bananas for a secret treat inside… the lil one loves these best!! The DAD ice-cream sandwiches I just posted on FB so check it out– super fun and soo soo YUMMY!!!
Stay cool everyone!! ;D
~My how your garden grows~
is this a silly post- why YES! I have a million other things to be done butttt they can wait because I wanna give a shout out to my sweet neighbor who always has the BEST yard on the block– her flowers ….. just beautiful:) I had the privilege of keeping them alive while she was away ( O the pressure!! lol). What does one do while watering a neighbors garden? – why take her camera over and capture some of it! I am not a nature photographer so these are not out of the ordinary pics but, O how I love all the different textures and tones of her garden~ could I tell you the names of all of them? ummm NO WAYY! but just as she takes such great care of her garden and her sweet boys, she so does take care of me too- cant thank her enough for all the things she does for me ( most importantly the half sweet, half unsweet tea from my fav ice place- Chick fil a — yes you read that right I LOVE the Chicks ice!! lol) so glad Im on a street that has the most amazing gals around!!
**and best of all about these lil watering trips we made each day– my boys thought they were in another world and played forEVER in her backyard– even though its.right.next.door!! lol
